Before your car leaves New Hampshire, take a few quick steps to keep it safe.
1. Clean and inspect. Wash the exterior and remove dirt that could hide damage. Snap a few photos of the front, back, sides, and interior – these will help prove the car’s condition.
2. Remove personal items. Take out all loose objects, toll tags, GPS units, and anything that could shift or break. The carrier will not be responsible for items left inside.
3. Check fluids and battery. Make sure the gas tank is no more than a quarter full. Top off oil, coolant, and brake fluid if needed. A fully charged battery helps the carrier move the vehicle safely.
4. Secure accessories. Fold in side mirrors, retract antennas, and lock the steering wheel. Remove roof racks, bike racks, spoilers, or any aftermarket parts that could catch on the carrier.
5. Provide a key. Leave a working key (or remote) in a safe place for the driver. If you have a push‑button start, give the carrier the necessary code.
Following these steps will make the loading process smoother and protect your car during its trip across state lines.
