Before your car leaves Oklahoma, follow these quick steps to keep it safe and avoid extra fees:

• Clean the interior and exterior. Remove trash, personal items, and any loose accessories (floor mats, bike racks, roof racks, spoilers, etc.).
• Check fluid levels. Ensure oil, coolant and fuel are at normal levels, but keep the tank no more than a quarter full to reduce weight.
• Disable toll tags and electronic devices. Take off any EZ‑Pass, toll transponders, or GPS units that could be damaged.
• Gather all keys. Provide the carrier with every key you have (ignition, door, trunk, and any remote‑start or alarm keys).
• Document existing damage. Take clear photos of the vehicle from all angles and note any scratches or dents.
• Secure loose parts. Tighten or remove antennas, spoilers, and any aftermarket items that could shift.
• Leave the car in neutral (or park). If it’s an automatic, leave it in park; if it’s manual, leave it in neutral with the parking brake released.

Yes. When you ship a vehicle to or from Oklahoma with Sakaem Logistics, the carrier must carry at least $1,000,000 in liability insurance and $100,000 in cargo insurance. We verify the carrier’s policy is active and in good standing for the entire trip. The cargo coverage protects against damage that occurs while the vehicle is in transit, subject to normal policy exclusions (e.g., pre‑existing damage or improper loading). If a loss occurs, the carrier’s insurance will handle the claim, and we assist you every step of the way.

Schedule early – we suggest booking at least 14 days in advance. The earlier you post, the more options carriers have to combine your load with others heading the same direction, which can lower cost and secure a spot. If you wait until the last minute, you may face limited carrier availability and higher rates. For peak seasons (summer moves, holidays) add extra time, aiming for three weeks. Booking now also gives you flexibility to adjust dates if needed.

We accept all forms of payment. We can arrange credit cards or arrange for you to pay the carrier directly through cash/certified check. We even accept payment via Cash/Zelle/Venmo.

Your shipment with SAKAEM includes up to 100 lbs of personal items or household goods stored in the trunk area or secured below the window line. If your shipment includes ocean transit (Hawaii shipments), your vehicle must be emptied of all items. A designated (adult) must be present at pickup and delivery. This designated person plays an important role in the shipping process including documenting the state of the vehicle and signing the Bill of Lading, which acts as a receipt of the vehicle’s condition.

Open auto transport uses a standard flatbed trailer with a removable top. It is the most common and cost‑effective method, protecting the vehicle from the elements only while it’s secured to the deck. Open trucks can carry many cars at once, so rates are lower—typically 30‑50% less than enclosed service.

Enclosed auto transport uses a fully covered trailer that shields the vehicle from weather, road debris, and stray stones. This added protection raises the price by about 40‑60% compared to open transport. Enclosed service is best for high‑value, classic, vintage, or custom‑paint cars, as well as vehicles with aftermarket modifications that could be damaged by exposure.

Both options include loading, unloading, and insurance coverage, but the choice comes down to budget versus the level of protection you need for your Oklahoma shipment.

Yes, Sakaem Logistics offers door-to-door auto transport throughout Oklahoma. When you book, we ask for the exact pick-up and drop-off addresses. Our carrier will travel to those locations, load your vehicle, and deliver it to the address you provided on the other side. If a street, building, or safety rule blocks a direct drop-off, we will work with you to choose a nearby safe spot such as a well-lit parking lot or a gas station.

We handle both inbound and outbound shipments, and our rates include the full door-to-door service – no hidden terminal fees. Because we are a scrappy, independent broker founded in 2012, we keep costs low while still providing reliable carriers and real-time tracking.

We can ship vehicles that don’t run so long as the vehicle can roll, brake, and steer, and that you can provide the carrier with a key to the vehicle. The only exception is boats, which we do not transport.
