A designated (adult) must be present at pickup and delivery. This designated person plays an important role in the shipping process including documenting the state of the vehicle and signing the Bill of Lading, which acts as a receipt of the vehicle’s condition.

Open transport uses a standard trailer with several cars side‑by‑side. It is the most common and cheapest option. The vehicle is exposed to weather, road debris and dust, but the trailer still shields it from rain. Open trucks are plentiful across Wisconsin, so schedules are flexible and prices are lower—typically 40‑50% less than enclosed.

Enclosed transport uses a fully covered trailer that blocks wind, rain, snow, sun and debris. This added protection is ideal for high‑value, classic, or custom‑paint cars.
